MISSION

Mission is what we DO.  We believe that we are called to do more than gather a crowd of people, but that we are called to build people into all that God has called them to be.  We take seriously our commission from Christ to make disciples.  Our mission is: "Leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ."

VISION

Vision is what we SEE.  Our vision is a picture of the future of City Bible Church.  It allows us to focus all of our time, energy and resources in the same direction.  God has given us a great vision to literally bring change to San Diego as we love God, love people and prove it with our actions.  Our vision is: "We see a church of thousands of fully devoted followers of Christ powerfully impacting the culture of San Diego"

Relationship

Relationship with God is at the core of why we were created and why we have been redeemed.  We value a deep, personal and growing relationship with God for the individual believer.

We also value covenant relationship with others.   If you are around very long you are sure to hear the phrase "doing life together.â€Ã‚ This is more than a slogan for us, it is how we live life.  Man was not meant to be alone; his relationship with others cultivates personal growth.  A great summary of what Jesus calls the greatest commandment is this:"Love God, Love People. (Gen 2:18, Phil 2:3, John 13:34,35, John15:12, Matt 22:37-42)

As a result of this core value we embrace unity, family, small groups, covenant relationship & personal devotional life.
